A Tart Tasting

One of my favorite events as a caterer is the Wedding Tasting.
It is one of the few marital preparations that is purely pleasurable,
and when a bride and groom want to throw out tradition for a more uniquely tailored option
I'm even more giddy!

Megan and Keith chose a carnival-theme for their spring wedding,
and once we chatted I knew pie was the perfect fit!

To make things even better, we opted for individual His & Hers tarts
in a variety of mouth-watering flavors...

 Featured Tart Flavors

Creamy Mascarpone w/ Balsamic Strawberries
Honeyed-Caramel Blackberry Lattice
Fresh Strawberry w/ Kiwi Curd
Salty Hazelnut & Chocolate Truffle

Something for the Winter Blues...

I am enamored with countless things culinary, and a Ruby Red grapefruit sits at the top of my list.
Nothing breaks up the winter monotony like these delicious scones...

A tender crumb
rippled with streaks of rosy fruit,
and dusted in crunchy, sweet-tart citrus sugar!

Perfect for a casual tea with friends or tucked into dainty boxes as favors for a grand celebration!

Just Peachy

One of the best things in life, in our opinion, is a change of season and the
new and exciting flavors that come with it.
Not to mention having access to local growers
that proudly share softball-sized peaches that are so good you could cry.

This trifle looks beautiful on a dessert table,
and is the perfect candidate for an impressive individual dessert.

Sweet Travels

I got together with several amazing ladies in my neighborhood a while ago for
a travel-inspired dinner and program.

For dessert I contributed this little beauty-
A moist and delicious red velvet cake disguised
as just another well-worn carry-on.

Road trip anyone?
